Belle was a fun pastel portrait of a young female Red-tailed Hawk who is a falconry bird. Not only do I find raptors intriguing, but also incredibly majestic. I truly love painting and drawing them!
Interesting Fact: The sound of Red-tailed Hawk calls are used in movie studios to dub over the sound of a Bald Eagle, because the Red-tailed Hawk sounds fiercer.
