One day I wanted to test out a new set of inexpensive colored pencils and needed to draw something that could use as many colors as possible. That's when I found the gorgeous Lilac Breasted Roller bird of Africa. One of the most colorful and beautiful little birds I have ever seen and a perfect fit for testing out my pencils!
Interesting Fact: The Lilac-Breasted Roller is the national bird of Kenya. “Kambu” is the Swahili word for this bird.
